We are seeking a Lead Application Support Engineer to to manage and oversee the smooth operation of critical applications, ensuring seamless user experience and system functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a 24/7/365 level 1 application support team, ensuring continuous support for both applications and systems.

Key responsibilities

Job Description

1. Manage and resolve technical issues of allocated vessels.
2. Monitor vessel performance, including maintenance and repairs to meet ship owners and charterers requirement.
3. Collaborate with the crew, suppliers, and external stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure vessel safety and reliability.
4. Assess and approve technical specifications for vessel repairs and upgrades.
5. Budget implementation and control.
6. Approve vessel request for stores and spares to ensure correct specifications, quantity, quality and cost.
7. Organize dry dock and ensure process is in compliance with procedures and specifications for vessels' dry dock inspection/repairs.
8. Conduct vessel inspection and ensure compliance with class/statutory regulations and company safety requirement and all surveys are carried out timely.

Job Requirement

1. 1st Class Certificate of Competency, Marine Engineering Degree or equivalent.
2. 2 years experience as Technical Superintendent, preferably with Chemical tankers.
3. 2 years of sea-going experience as Chief Engineer on board various types of vessels including Oil and Chemical tankers preferred.
4. Familiar with SIRE Vetting process.
