Summary

You will be working with our client who specialises in the healthcare space. You will be responsible in providing technical support for application related issues, performing daily service health monitoring, server maintenance and resiliency improvements. You will also be responsible for delivering new and improved capabilities in systems monitoring, recovery and stability aspects of the system.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist in regular server maintainance, system accesses, systems monitoring, backups, patching and daily health checks
• Maintain service operations documentation and guides. Develop supporting documentation for all service operations activities
• Monitor service level dashboards, perform daily health monitoring, system capacity review and allocation of adequate capacity
• Defect fixes and resiliency related improvements
• Assist in investigation of user reported issues
• Develop mitigating and/or preventive solutions
• Support transition phases from project to operations.
• Assist team in Change Approval Board and Pre-commissioning preparations.
• Liaise closely with interfacing systems users and support teams on routine support issues or enhancements.
• Provide application maintenance support (certain activities may occur after office hours).
• Liaise closely with business users and build good rapport.
• Support vulnerability assessment, capacity management and software lifecycle to ensure timely remediation of identified issues.
• Coordinate production deployment process and administrative account access.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other highly technical, scientific discipline
• At least 3 years of L2 Technical Support experience on multi technology platforms
• Must have prior knowledge in SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HR, SAP S/4 Hana application with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ITIL v3/v4 certification and strong service oriented experience / background preferred
• Strong knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
• Proven experience supporting web, mobile and client based applications

Job Summary:

The Infrastructure & Container Platform Support Engineer will act as a liaison between Application and Infrastructure teams, ensuring seamless implementation of infrastructure requirements for applications. The role requires managing, maintaining, and optimizing infrastructure platforms while adhering to bank standards for performance, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Infrastructure Coordination & Support: Collaborate with Application and Infrastructure teams to define and set up the necessary infrastructure for applications. Address application infrastructure requirements effectively, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Performance & Compliance Management: Monitor and maintain performance for Operating Systems, Middleware, and Databases. Ensure timely implementation of security/bug fix patches, End-of-Support (EOS) transitions, and compliance with ISCD and bank security standards.

Technical Expertise & Incident Management: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing senior-level technical guidance to application teams. Promptly respond to incidents, analyze root causes, and deliver temporary and permanent resolutions for issues related to Middleware, OS, database performance, capacity, resiliency, stability, replication, and other critical aspects.

Solution Design & Recommendation: Research and recommend solutions that align with business needs and enterprise operational requirements. Evaluate new releases of Middleware, OS, and Database components, ensuring minimal impact and compliance across the environment.

Development Support: Provide technical assistance to application development teams in leveraging infrastructure and container platforms effectively.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and other container platforms.
• Solid knowledge of Linux OS, Wintel OS, and databases like MariaDB (or equivalent).
• Experience with networking technologies such as F5 GTM/LTM or other SLBs.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a relevant role.
• Experience in banking or financial services institutions is preferred.

Work Environment:

• Availability to work in shift-based schedules, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments, coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Shift Timings:

Morning Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

General Shift: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Night Shift: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Candidates must be flexible and prepared to support all shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day technical support and maintenance services, including troubleshooting and problem resolution
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications
Assist in the implementation and upgrade of new IT systems and solutions
Communicate with vendors and clients to ensure technical needs are met
Write and update technical documentation and operation manuals
Participate in project planning and execution to ensure project goals are met on time
Track and report IT support incidents and problem resolution progress
Continuously learn and update technical knowledge to stay industry-competitive

Basic Requirements:
1-2 years of relevant work experience
Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related major
