Essential Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Protection relay product repairs in Singapore regional Service Centre (LSC) and on the international customer sites where necessary.
• Become the local and regional product expert to support customers and channel partners in their planning, execution, product training and after sales services support.
• Become an expert in utilizing one of the best customer case management tool – Salesforce, own & deliver the resolution of product technical issue cases.

Qualification Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering from an accredited university. Major in Electrical [Power] is preferred.
• 2 years experience in power system protection, automation, or control applications, technical support, services, laboratory work environment.
• Certificates/licenses for EHS, electrical work, technician, construction and other such is a plus.
• Graduate engineers with major in Electrical Power engineering with interest in Protection & Control, automation applications & services are encouraged to apply.

• Education: Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate or equivalent (English medium).
• Language: Proficient in English, with Mandarin as a preferred secondary language.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and configure infrastructure systems and applications (e.g. Active Directory Services, Data Centre, video conferencing, audio system, telephony, server storage, backup, etc.), network devices (Firewall, routers, VPN, internet proxy, wireless, etc.), desktop, mobile devices and other remote devices.
• Ensure systems are backed up automatically, recovery plans and disaster recovery plans and patches are carried out successfully and monitor the systems’ resources usage closely.
• Liaise with external vendors to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met; Source for products/solutions and vendors/suppliers for required projects.
• Provide technical support to both Local and Overseas branches’ users over the LAN and WAN without compromising security.
• Draft and update technical documentation such as administration & user guides; Provide L1/L2 support and participate as a team lead or member in projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, OR/AND Certification in CCNA with minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Proficient in enterprise networking, including WAN, LAN, and VPN optimization implementation and support
• Skilled in administering Microsoft Server 2012 and later, Microsoft 365, and Google Suite products/services
• Familiar with internet architecture designs such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Proxy and Firewall & devices like Alcatel PABX, FortiGate Devices, Cisco and Unifi Wireless AP Controller
• Strong knowledge of CyberRisk and CyberSecurity; familiarity with PDPA is highly preferred
• Experience with Veeam, VMware, and UNIX/Linux; API/Web Programming and Database Administration is an added advantage

1. Application Support: Provide first and second level technical support to end-users of the projects’ applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.

2. Incident management: Monitor and manage the application support queue, ensuring that issues are logged, triaged, and resolved within the defined SLAs.

3. Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis on application issues, identifying the underlying cause and proposing solutions to prevent recurrence.

9. Training: Provide training to end-users and other IT staff on the use and maintenance of the applications.

1.Provide First Call Resolution (FCR) technical support via phone and email. Ensure calls are answered and emails are responded in a timely manner.

2.Perform first level troubleshooting on all reported incidents and escalate incidents to 2nd level resolver groups as per work instructions.

3.Furnish and submit timely updates to customers on the status of outstanding issues within targeted Service Level

4.Maintain ownership of cases and follow-up on reported issues until closure and gather accurate and complete relevant information is recorded.

5.Manage customer expectations and notify Team Lead in the event of unusual surge in calls of a specific nature.

6.Handle initial classification/ prioritization of the incidents. Track the progress of resolution and provide regular updates for follow-up actions and incident status.

7.Ensure Email Backlogs are cleared before the following day start of business.
