Summary

This TS&D specialist will play a key technical role in supporting the growth of the business under Packaging and Specialty Plastics of the Dow Chemical Company in different countries of SEA. The role is to be part of Dow’s cutting-edge technology development and resolve current and future scientific difficulties in material science.

Key responsibilities

1. Provide technical solutions

• Focus on client-side application development and technical support.

Experience qualifications

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading and managing IT operations of the LSA department along with other Technical Specialist in the department and in collaboration with ACIS, NIE’s main IT department.

Key Responsibilities

• IT laboratories management: Lead and perform maintenance and upgrading (when necessary) of department’s IT assets (approximately 100 computers and 10 commercial applications).
• IT budgeting and purchases: Propose and monitor department’s IT-related budget.
