The IT Support Officer will ensure the integrity and stability of in-house ICT systems that support key organisational functions across the client business. This will be achieved through supporting, maintaining and optimising ICT software and hardware, desktop and printing, and local and enterprise applications and associated operating systems as required.

Where it is assessed that the specific feedback cannot be addressed due to its sensitive nature or anonymity of sender, the Contractor shall inform the Authority immediately.

Job Description

• The Band 1 – Desktop Technician will provide day to day local\remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system.
