Job Description:

• Plan, control, and execute all activities connected with maintenance, repairs, survey and certificate requirements, dry-docking, conversion or modification of assigned ships, including preparation of docking specifications, cost compilation and the final reports;
• Update, implement and monitor the Fleet Management system including Planned Maintenance Programs (PMS-Eng);
• Carry out ship inspections, which will include a minimum of one port of sailing visit on board with the associated reports;
• Formulate a dynamic work plan and action list with the Chief Engineer;
• Ensure that the ship is maintained according to the Company’s policy and receive regular reports for its progress;

• Monitor fuel oil and lube oil testing results and take necessary corrective action promptly;
• Ensure the timely supply and maintain a sufficient stock of engine room stores, spares, and other maintenance items on board at all times;
• Ensure calibration validity of MMC, gas detection equipment and alcohol meters;
• Ensure annual servicing of portable and fixed LSA & FFA such as fire extinguishers, L/rafts, SCBA sets, EEBD sets, L/boat and Rescue boat davit annual test, EPIRB and VDR annual performance test, L/boat air bottle, BA compressor air quality test, etc.;
• Help maintain the Company’s TMSA;
• Keep abreast, update and implement new rules, regulations and legislations applicable to the Company and Fleet;
• Help plan, coordinate and attend to the new-build, delivery and sale of the ship, as and when required;
• Participate in maritime organizations, committees and working groups as and when required;
• Draw up, implement and monitor the budget and cost control for the fleet, including docking and modifications;
• Carry out other ad hoc duties assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements: (Harbour Fleet)

• Possess Certificate of Competency (Engine) Class 1 or Class 2 (Port Limit), or alternatively Class 2 or 3 (Foreign Going), can be considered;
• Degree or Diploma in Marine or Mechanical Engineering;
• Preferably to have 2-year experience as Chief Engineer in petroleum and chemical tankers below 20,000 MT deadweight and 4-stroke main diesel engines;
• Preferably have 1-year experience as shore-based Technical Superintendent;

Responsibilities

· Co-ordinate and liaise between the Board and the Project Contractor. · Ensure the safety, cleanliness, tidiness, and Earth Control Measure (ECM) are provided and maintained on site, if and when required.

· The RTO shall include daily monitoring of site works and update of daily activities done by Project Contractor as part of his job scope.

· The RTO shall also assist in verifying transmittals, method statements, risk assessment and submission submitted by Project Contractor to ensure compliance to Specifications.

· The RTO shall also assist to certify work done each month for Contract payment purposes to be processed by the Board.

Inspect all works and list the defects required to be rectified during the Defects Liability Period of the Project. Monitor the progress of rectification works and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified. Supervise any remedial works as requested by the Board during the Defects Liability Period. The RTO shall also arrange and conduct end of Defects Liability Period inspections with the Project

Reporting to the Senior Teacher (ST), the Class Support assists the teaching team in various teaching activities, including supporting students in transitions and their hygiene care needs.

Critical Work Functions:

1. Support Curriculum & Instructional Excellence

• Assist the teaching team in the care and management of students in class activities
• Assist with the specific hygiene, health, medical and safety needs of student as required (e.g. toileting, feeding etc)
• Prepare learning materials and learning environments
• Upkeep the cleanliness and safety aspects of the classroom
