• Conducts inspections and certify value of work completed for RE’s recommendation for Contractor’s progress payment to be made
• Liaise with all parties involved in the project

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical /Electronic/Instrumentation and Control Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in site supervision works, preferably in Odour/Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Project
• IT literate and possess good record-keeping skills
• Self-starter, diligent and ability to work in a team

We are a looking for a Site Technical Manager to make an impact! In this role, you will be accountable for the delivery of engineering packages that constitute part of a wider Building Management System within Data Centers. You will work closely with Engineering Manager, a team of PLC Programmer / application engineers and the Commissioning teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.

What will you do?

• Undertake technical reviews of customer drawing and specifications.
• Monitor and control engineering deliverable progress to ensure the on-time delivery of the projects. Use the tracking board tool and take pro-active decisions and actions to prevent any slippages. Ensure full & effective reporting of project progress & status to management
• Manage Project Risks & Opportunities associated with the engineering deliverables by assessing, identifying, mitigating and controlling any potential situations that could impact (negatively or positively) the performance of the project.
• Master Variation Order & Claim process for both Customer and vendors. Work with the Engineering Manager to obtain Variation Orders for any deviation from the contractual scope.
• Mitigate any source of conflict with customer or internal stakeholders throughout the project installation phase.
• Drive customer relationship and proactively communicate (executive summary, emails, call, meeting). Establish key relationships with all project relevant stakeholders.

What qualifications will make you successful?

In this role practical experience will carry a high weighting than formal qualifications: -

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of work experience in BMS, HVAC, or Industrial Controls / Automation.
• Previous work experience as a senior automation/controls engineer and managing a team of programmer / application engineers is preferrable.
• Knowledge of Modicon PLCs and EcoStruxure Control Expert (formerly Unity Pro).
• Knowledge of Citect SCADA.
• Experience with Smartsheet and Microsoft Project (or similar) a plus.
• Position is to be base at client's site.
