Background Summary

We run 10 enrichment centres across Singapore (www.rootsabacus.com). Looking for a suitable candidate willing to commute to our main office located in Marine Parade/ East Coast.

Responsibilities and Duties

Student, teachers and parent coordination manage classroom, responding to enquires. Candidate will be provided with training.

Qualifications and Skills

Good in spoken and written English, presentable and pleasing personality comfortable to engage with children between 5 to 14 yrs. Prefer candidates with prior teaching, parent, child management and Microsoft Excel.

Job Types: Full-time or Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per month(full time). For Part-time to be hourly based

Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day administrative and coordination work to the department
• In charge of filing, data entry and administrative duties
• Preparation and submission of Management reports
• Provide support to ensure effective information flow and communication among various internal and external stakeholders
• Outreach to vendors for business procurement related matters
• Forecast business related budgeting and costings
• Ensure that the company's objectives and sales targets are met
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 1 - 2 years relevant office support / business operations / administrative experience
• IT savvy and good in Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently in a fast paced environment

The Opportunity

The Talent

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience in the industry. Certification in trade finance or IT will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in supporting or developing applications for trade finance products such as documentary credits/collections and guarantees.
• Able to perform rotating shift between ASIA and EMEA time
• Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business processes and workflows of trade finance.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision and adhere to IT production and deployment standards.

The Job

• You will be responsible for providing technical and functional support to a range of Corporate IT and Security applications related to trade finance. Your main duties will include:
• Communicating with end-users through phone, chat, email, or a ticketing system and addressing their issues or requests.
• Analyzing and managing incidents/problems/requests from users and escalating them to the appropriate level if needed.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Customizing the application, developing document templates and advices according to the business needs and specifications.
• Supervising and monitoring daily and monthly jobs and ensuring their successful completion.
• Processing and issuing daily, weekly and monthly reports on data and tickets.
• Working in shifting schedules (ASIA and EMEA) to provide 24/7 support coverage.

• To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary

Criteria:

- Min 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or supervision of installation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data and use of software for the presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.

- Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering

- Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore

Technical Sales Engineer/ Product Sales Engineer

Location: Bukit Batok

Working Days: 5 Days

Working hours : 9am - 6pm

Salary : SGD2,200-3,500 (not inclusive of transport allowance, bonus/commission)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop a thorough understanding of our complete range of product
• Responsible for preparing quotations, proposal according to customers' requirements
• Plan sales visits, customer calls
• Service existing clients and proactively identify and develop new customers and markets
• Conduct product training and presentation to customers
• Follow up on sales lead, sales orders and deliveries
• Provide application/product support to customers and internal sales team
