• Shall carry out all laboratory tests and measurements accurately in accordance to procedure and upkeep/maintain the instruments/facilities in good running conditions
• Shall prepares standards and reagents for analysis in accordance to procedure and ensure that all related documentation is maintained
• Shall perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments and write the maintenance report after troubleshooting/maintenance
• Shall handle ISO Documentation/Raw Data for QA Department
• Shall accurately update internal Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and monitor the charts
• Shall assist in training for staff for QC Section-related activities when required
• Shall maintains and checks inventory of all storage samples and ensure all relevant records are maintained
• Shall perform receiving of QA department purchase and ensure that received items and all related document are correct at the point of receipt
• Shall assist in audit preparation
• Shall support the QA Section in its activities as and when required
• Shall be involved in near miss identification and provide work improvement (QEHS) suggestions
• Shall maintains the general upkeep and cleanliness of the laboratory and related areas by performing housekeeping
• Shall strictly adhere to all EHS/QMS procedures in all aspects of the activities and observe line discipline and 5S
• Shall performs any other tasks as instructed by the supervisor, engineer, QC section manager and HOD

Requirements

• Candidate with Diploma in Chemical or science discipline
• Experience with analytical instruments like ICP-MS, AAS, etc.
• Basic understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards will be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools

Marine / Port Crane Technician as follows:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Full time position based in Singapore at our client’s facility.
• Working alongside the maintenance engineer to conduct routine maintenance of rail mounted, rubber mounted and ship to shore cranes.
• The scope of work includes but not limited to:
  • Gearbox and hydraulic oil change out
  • Brake adjustment
  • Oil and air filter change out
  • Component greasing
  • Bolt torquing
  • Crane testing and commissioning
• Site specific and on the job training will be provided.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in similar role working with heavy machinery in ports, shipyards or heavy industry.
• Good knowledge and solid hands-on experience with front end maintenance of heavy machinery.
• Own transport to allow for travel to and from site.
• Willing to work as part of a team under the instruction of the maintenance engineer.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Work Days: 5.5 days’ work a week

- Station on-site and perform daily inspection and preventive maintenance works in Mechanical and Electrical Systems according to Scheduled Maintenance

- Attend to feedback, Breakdown and customer service requests

- Attend to Fault-Calls and carry out rectification of Faults within specified time and budget

- Supervise and coordinate with contractors and vendors on works according to scheduled maintenance, repair, shut-down and overhaul works

- Assist Engineer/Manager to update records of Mechanical and Electrical system servicing reports and monitor the performance of the systems and equipment
