Key Responsibilities Area

• Carry out implementation activities for plant modifications, capital projects and other identified plant improvement projects in line with defined specifications, budget and qualification of facilities in accordance with site to approved procedures.
• Provides specialist advice to other departments and subordinates for trouble shooting / continuous improvements to processes / systems.

• Understand development of Computer System Validation (CSV) and equipment specifications and executing Computer System Validation, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and other pharmaceutical equipment/system commissioning/validation such as installation qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ), performance qualification (PQ) protocols in accordance with Good Engineering Practices, GAMP, local SOPs, industry best practices and other industry related guidance documents.
• Assess the impact of changes to cGMP equipment/systems and methods and establish the applicable Validation Plan to ensure the validated status following changes.
• Experience in technical writing and report generation of testing methodologies of automated systems.
• Expertise in evaluating validation protocols and summary reports.
• Strong understanding of Testing and Software Development Lifecycle and QA methodologies.
• Responsible for being a quality contact and primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex deviations for systems, processes, and equipment related to engineering, facilities, automation, manufacturing, and validation.
• Support and review complex deviation investigations related to manufacturing process equipment, utilities, automation, validation, and engineering.
• Work closely with Operations, Facilities, Manufacturing, Automation, Validation, and Engineering to resolve open issues resulting from equipment failures, issues, and deviation record reviews.
• Lead the QA review and assessments of deviations; includes performing risk assessments, leading root cause analysis investigations, tracking, follow-up, close out, and reporting/trending.

Job requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in cGMP automation/computerized systems, quality, and compliance areas in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Thorough understanding of industry standards and best practices for computer system validation.
• Extensive experience with validation of equipment controlled by PLCs, BAS/BMS systems, and other typical automated system platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

You are required to manage the assigned projects toward successful handover to clients and subsequently to Service Team within the budgeted cost and quality standard. Direct responsibilities include site supervision, attend site meetings, management of sub-contractors, timely issuance of documentation of project includes variation orders, extension of times, test procedures, operations and maintenance manual, timely information to the drafting section for their preparation of shop drawings and as-built drawings and testing and commissioning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with internal & external on control design and process flow. Implementation of SCADA/PLC/DCS projects from concept to design, configuration & programming, testing and commissioning for process plants.
• Troubleshoot electrical design and software issues together with assembly/debug team.
• Lead and provide coaching, supervise, make sound decisions and guide to Control Engineer and electrical team.
• Working knowledge of Ethernet, Profinet, ProfibusDP ,Profibus PA, Modbus communication
• Hands on experience but not limit on SIEMENS, OMRON, ALLEN BRADLEY PLC & WINCC HMI or other SCADA systems is essential.
• Oversee the preparation of project documentation for new and refurbish projects.
• Able to carry out testing & commissioning at project site independently locally as well overseas.
• Arrange resources to support project and service team to meet the required timeline
• Occasionally travel local & oversea is required
• Assist and arrange support on IT,OT, IQ,OQ, PQ for new project

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Must have knowledge in computer systems, and high-level knowledge of software applications on PLC’s, vision control system with preferable experience in integrated manufacturing systems
• Must have high level knowledge of Industrial Networks architectures (Ethernet IP, Control Net & Profibus)
• Experience of working on an MES system will be a bonus
• Knowledge of machine control systems

Job Responsibilities

* Inspect project sites and monitor progress, ensuring work done conforms to safety standards and design specifications while determining if changes or adjustments need to be made
* Test materials and soils to determine the strength of concrete, steel, asphalt and foundations of buildings
* Utilize computer assisted design and other drawing tools to plan and design various types of systems and structures, including roadways, buildings, water systems and tunnels
* Direct and participate in surveying activities to lay out installations and establish grades, reference points and elevations to properly guide construction
* Determine design specifications by computing grade and load requirements and material stress factors
* Manage and direct operations, construction and maintenance activities being done at project sites
* Prepare public reports on various topics, including deeds, bid proposals, property descriptions and environmental impact statements
* Ensure activities comply with all environmental, governmental and safety regulations and address all problems concerning actions that do not comply
