The goal of Business development is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and to build strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development & Academic Executive to promote and expand Singapore Human Resources Institute’s (SHRI) solutions and programmes. This role requires a professional with an understanding of business development, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and nurture client relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth through collaborating with Marketing in outreach and effective program campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development

• Develop and execute a business development strategy to increase enrollment for programs and position SHRI as a partner of choice.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities by targeting corporate clients, and industry partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HR / Business leaders, organizations, and associations to promote program offerings.
• Utilise market research to understand trends in HR education and adapt sales approaches to meet prospective client needs.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop impactful marketing campaigns, including digital content, events, and promotional materials.

Academic Program Promotion

• Serve as a knowledgeable spokesperson for HR programs, effectively communicating their value, curriculum, and career impact to prospective students and corporate partners.
• Conduct informational sessions, webinars, and one-on-one consultations to guide prospects through program offerings and admission processes.
• Provide accurate information on program structure, schedules, and costs, while addressing any questions or concerns from prospective students or corporate clients.
• Liaise with academic and administrative departments to ensure smooth communication of program details and seamless onboarding of new students.

Relationship Management & Client Support

• Develop and manage partnerships with key organizations, associations, and influencers to expand program reach and credibility.
• Act as the primary contact for enrolled students and corporate clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction through ongoing communication and support.
• Monitor and report on program performance metrics, including enrollment numbers, student satisfaction, and partner engagement, to refine strategies.

Qualification:

• Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within education or HR.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with strong networking skills.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and adapting to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for teaching-related roles including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Source qualified candidates through multiple channels such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, recruitment fairs etc.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through proactive sourcing and networking for current and future labor needs, including entry-level and skilled positions.
• Build relationships with local universities, trade associations, and job centers to identify top talent.
• Review resumes, applications, and assess candidates' qualifications for suitability for the position.
• Conduct phone screenings and in-person interviews with candidates to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate technical assessments and pre-employment testing as required.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Collaborate with HR to facilitate a smooth onboarding process, including pre-employment checks, contract negotiations, and induction training.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the Edtech domain.
• Represent the company at local job fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to attract direct labor talent.
• Support the employer branding initiatives by promoting the company's culture, benefits, and growth opportunities to prospective employees.
• Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent acquisition partners.
• Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open roles and recruitment activities.
• Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality to optimize the recruitment process.
• Continuously evaluate recruitment strategies and tools, seeking opportunities for improvement and greater efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, labor market conditions, and best practices in talent acquisition.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Proven experience in recruiting for education-related positions. Experience in the education industry is preferred.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, responding quickly to changing labor demands or company priorities.
• Experience in recruiting teachers is a plus.
• Strong ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated capability in problem identification and resolution.
• Proficient in using recruitment software and tools, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
