Job Overview
The Customer Service Executive is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by assisting clients with account-related transactions, time deposits, inquiries, and after-sales services. The role involves efficiently and accurately handling over-the-counter financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, foreign currency exchanges, remittances, and other related services.
Job Scope
- Conducts start and end-of-day banking activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Handles cash and check deposits, withdrawals, encashments, foreign currency exchanges, remittances, and other related over-the-counter transactions, with decision-making authority for amounts up to S$30,000.
- Monitors time deposit maturities and collaborates with clients to confirm instructions for their accounts.
- Provides clients with detailed information about the institution's products and services, offers tailored solutions, and actively cross-sells relevant banking products.
- Engages with prospective clients to explain offerings and assist them with account setup.
- Supports marketing efforts by organizing and participating in events, interacting with clients, and promoting services.
- Acts as a Liaison Officer for Singapore-based clientsMaintains strict confidentiality regarding system access and passwords.
- Ensures compliance with internal policies, Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines, Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) regulations, Data Privacy laws, and the institution’s service quality standards.
- Supports Loans and Treasury Operations when required.
- Manages small projects and performs other duties as assigned
Requirement:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in banking, financial services, or customer service roles, preferably in a front-line or client-facing capacity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain strong client relationships.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage daily operations, client inquiries, and marketing responsibilities.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive client and company information.
- Immediate availability or a short notice period is an advantage
