• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to the Management
• Preparing financial analyses and reports
• Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Coordinate and communicate with external parties like tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and tax authorities where required
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, project accounting, and inventory accounting. 
• Ensure all supporting schedules are properly documented and maintained. 
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare quarterly GST returns and workings and GST reporting.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Finance Manager

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience. 
• CPA/ACCA or its equivalent would be an added advantage
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting practices and government regulations
• Proficiency in MS office, accounting software such as Xero or Quickbooks and its relevant functions to perform your duties
• Experience in GST reporting is required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Attention to details, meticulous and ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment. 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Operations Manager in ensuring the seamless operations and maintenance of the retail mall.
• Organize operational programs and execute maintenance activities to maintain optimal mall performance.
• Develop the annual budget, oversee maintenance contracts, and monitor expenses to fulfill the mall's operational requirements.
• Contribute to the execution of Asset Enhancement Initiatives, supervise tenant renovation projects, and provide operational support for mall promotional events.
• Work closely with the Contract & Procurement team to manage procurement for equipment replacement, periodic upgrades, and enhancement projects.
• Handle feedback and service requests promptly and effectively.
• Lead the team of technicians and oversee vendor services to uphold professional standards in daily operations.
• Act as a member of the Company Emergency Response Team (e.g., Site Incident Controller, First Aider).
• Participate in the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team by reviewing and approving permits to work (PTWs), conducting risk assessments, and carrying out safety inspections and audits of the mall.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Real Estate, Facilities, Building, or Estate Management.
• Strong initiative, leadership abilities, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work within tight deadlines, with a resourceful and methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work beyond regular operating hours when necessary.
• Open to learning and adaptable to potential lateral movements across asset classes to meet business needs.
