Job Responsibilities:

• Handle full sets of accounts (AP, AR,GL and Assets).
• Prepare Month-end closing, band & Cash and accounts reconciliation.
• Reconcile with general ledger control figures.
• Prepare Journals, entries, closing monthly reporting.
• Responsible for filing and timely processing of accounting entries.
• Processing of payments to suppliers - local & overseas including taxes and other statutory payments.
• Prepare and submit tax return / GST return.
• Handle staff expenses claim
• Check bank balances and prepare cash position reports.
• Other ad-hoc accounting duties as and when required.
• Patent application submission and management follow up.
• Monitor Vehicle Parking Certificate for heavy vehicle
• Monitor Vehicle inspection date for Road Tax renewal
• Monitor insurance for all the company vehicles
• Other General admin duties.

Requirements:

• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, MS Office
• Process effective organizational and follow-up skills, paying attention to detail.
• Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently, and efficiently.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.
• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Candidates with relevant working experience will be added advantage

With our commitment to delivering a better transportation experience, we are looking for a Senior Specialist, APAC Trade Compliance and Transportation to work with internal & external stakeholders on optimizing the transportation network between our APAC production plants.

What you will do

• Coordinate the APAC transportation network between the three main APAC production plants (Singapore, Philippines, and China) and the main distribution centers and country warehouses.
• Manage carriers at an international level, including express couriers and freight forwarders. This involves handling business relations, performance evaluations, and cost reviews.
• Create and support freight optimization projects for the APAC region.
• Oversee daily tasks related to freight monitoring and customs clearance at the distribution site in Singapore.
• Implement a trade compliance program and conduct periodic audits on trade compliance matters.

What you bring

• At least 5 years of operational experience in international transportation, preferably in a parcel environment.
• Proficiency in carrier management, including conducting reviews and coordinating daily operations.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. Proven history of delivering transportation network optimization projects (cost, performance, etc.).
• A broader understanding of related supply chain processes (warehouse, purchasing, etc.) is advantageous.
• Advanced communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills for working with global stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound goods related matters

• Picking, packing, labeling, loading and unloading of goods

• Verify goods against inbound and outbound documents

• Handle transaction documents related matters

• Manage goods inventory and warehouse supplies

• Performing stock count

• Handle damage and defect goods matters

• General housekeeping

• Handle or assign logistics related maintenance work.

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Working experience in logistic preferred

• Possess primary or secondary school education.

• Able to communicate, read and write Basic English

• Able to lift moderate weight

• Competency in computers, microsoft office, WMS systems

• Possess class 3 driving license

• Minimum 1 year of driving experience

• Possess forklift license will be an advantage

• Preferably able to start immediately within short notice

Job Details:

• Work Days: Monday - Friday / Saturday

• Work Hours: 10am - 7pm / 10am - 2pm
