What you will be doing
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Carrier Management
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Negotiate buying rates to ensure profitability of business
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Manage the purchasing performance tool within the Department
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Optimize profitability: Control of bookings through a cockpit, re-purchase when opportunities are identified
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Escalation points for final validation of DMP (BOLLORE rates approval platform)
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Work on yield improvement solutions
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Validation of input for tender bidding
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Establish guidelines for pricing and procurement in alignment to Middle Office direction
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Work closely with the sea freight planning team to define and formalize the booking instructions (Routing, Carrier, Schedule) according to customerās constraints and MO Solutionsā strategy
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Preform cross-functional collaboration (Business Units, internal customer and pricing) to meet with required information including: Transport mode, price, and transit time
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Monitor price movements and seasonal price fluctuations
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Analyze and report on monthly business performance (at GM meeting)
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Weekly report on vendor management and tasks activities to Head of Sea Freight
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Design solutions for new products / line by building product strategy with General Manager ā Sales
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Support Vertical / KA managers in marketing / pricing evaluation with economic analyses
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Provide guidance and correct errors in the companyās internal pricing platform
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Conduct interviews and recruit junior staff
Team Management
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ensure and monitor team compliance to the Bolloreās Code of Conduct and Companyās regulations
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ensure team understanding and implementation on Bolloreās Value in daily work behaviors
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Plan and monitor team performance including give coaching and counselling needed to deliver expected outcomes
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Plan and monitor team development together with HR Division
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ensure updated Job Description availability for the team by coordinating with HR Division
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ensure all changes in Department / Section communicated properly to the team
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Provide support and expertise to MO Operations when needed (e.g. specific quotation requirement)
The successful candidate
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Bachelorās degree requirement with min. 10 years of Seafreight experience
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast paced and dynamic multi-cultural MNC environment. In Freight-forwarding or Logistics industry will be a plus.
