Job Responsibilities

• To promote the service provided by the company - Oceanfreight / Air freight/ Projects/ Warehousing services. Plan business strategies to meet the customers’ business objectives.
• Aggressively source and secure new accounts and business.
• Establish and build up a pool of customers.
• Maintain good, professional working relationships and effective communications with existing, and new customers and all internal departments, affiliate offices, and partners.
• Achieve set sales targets and ensure all business transactions meet P&L objectives.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development.
• Monitor and ensure prompt payments for customer receivables.
• Ensure accurate and timely sales reporting to the immediate superior or HOS.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate superior or HOS.
• Identify new business opportunities by researching, identifying, and evaluating the prospective company's position in the industry.

Job Requirements

• Possess own transport
• Preferable with 2-3 years experience in the freight forwarding industry, have knowledge on either sea freight or Contract Logistics
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Scope

• To ensure all Singapore office business opportunities, and those engaged in support of other company offices are maximised both in terms of winning new works and ensuring a healthy potential profit margin is retained within the sales, whilst remaining competitive.
• To manage the client’s expectations, whilst maximising the potential return on all projects and jobs undertaken by the Singapore office.
• Ensuring the identification of new potential opportunities for Projects Logistics and General Freight Forwarding business, through understanding the Singapore offices potential client base and their respective future logistics activities.
• To provide informative & complete sales call report after each sales visit as per KPI.
• Marketing company global capabilities, resources and facilities in support of client’s potential requirement.
• Conducting customer satisfaction survey.
• Request For Information (RFI) & Request for Quotation (RFQ).
• Retain full control of the tender response and bid process up until contract award.
• Conduct Project wash-up meetings with the Operations / Projects teams to assist them to identify the successes and failures of Projects, the lessons learned and making recommendations for change to ensure future improvements.

Requirement

• Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics Managementor equivalent
• 3 – 5 years of working experience in International Logistics Industry
• Experience in Multi-modal transport environment in contract management is a plus
