• Coordinate and Arrange Voyage Logistics: You will be responsible for arranging all necessary components of a voyage, including appointing shipping agents, organizing bunker replenishment, and managing weather routing appointments.
• Ensure Compliance and Guided Operations: Make sure that voyage instructions are followed, and guide vessel masters in line with governing Charter Party agreements.
• Schedule Maintenance: Promptly maintain and update vessel schedules to enhance schedule integrity and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Purchasers and Vessel Superintendent: Liaise with purchasers and vessel Superintendent to plan loading/unloading/transshipment of stores and spares effectively.
• Monitor and Analyze Fuel Consumption: Review actual fuel consumption against budgeted figures to optimize cost-effectiveness in operations.
• Effective Communication: Engage in clear and concise communication with vessel masters, owners/charterers, brokers, and port agents.
• Monitor Vessel Movement and Performance: Track and report vessel movements and performance to relevant stakeholders.
• Dispute Resolution: In the event of disputes with counterparty involving cargo damage, lay-time, underperformance, etc., engage in communication for settlement based on the Charter Party terms.
• Clerical Responsibilities: Maintain shipping documents and accurately input voyage data into business applications.

Requirements:

• A degree in Maritime Studies or equivalent qualifications.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field. Entry-level candidates with the right qualifications are also encouraged to apply.

1. Lead and motivate customer services team - Coach, counsel, and train customer services

team to improve best customer experience and top line revenues, namely:

a) Follow up with customers for bookings and to identify new business opportunities.

b) Handle critical situation which include drafting emails and letters to customers.

c) To resolve routine and non-routine issues or complaints from customers.

d) To jointly work with suppliers and vendors including key carriers to make exceptions and

improve on services to improve customers’ experience.

2. Top Line Growth and Responsibilities through retention and penetration efforts, and business

development with Network Agent Partners and House Accounts.

3. Review and improve business processes and customers’ SOP regularly to make it more

efficient and up to date.

4. Engage (which include visiting) key suppliers and vendors including carriers that they deliver

best in class services to OV Logistics. It also includes identifying and engaging new suppliers,

vendors, and carriers that can provide better rates and services. This include constant updating

of the Vendors Master List for qualified vendors.

5. Visit key Customers (House Accounts) to review service experience and discuss improvement;

at the same time, build relationship and ask for more businesses.

6. Develop new strategic network agents to nominate shipments for OV Logistics.

7. Ensure all customers and suppliers records are filed in the iFMS System and appropriate

folder (in shared server) and kept up to date.

8. Ensuring all Job File opened is duly, completely and correctly key entered into our Freight

Management System.

9. Participate in relevant business project from time to time as assigned by management.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Advanced degree in Supply chain management or Project management

2. +8 years’ working experience in Shipping lines or managing shipping lines relationship in retailer or industrial companies. Knowledge on logistics industry and shipping lines is a must.

3. Outstanding verbal and written communication and collaboration skills in Chinese and English

4. Ability to think strategically and creatively while executing methodically with high attention to details, operational excellence and ability of multi-tasking

Job Requirements:
