Sales Admin Executive (Logistics)

Duty & Responsibility:

• Liaise with customer from inquiry, quotation, deal closing to handover to operations
• Assist your superior to prepare sales quotation for logistics services
• Manage customer relationship through on-going effort to maintain or expand sales revenue
• Collect data and perform analysis for market trend and pricing index
• Prepare scopes of work document to look for outsource vendor
• Check, prepare and verify customer credit score based on internal procedure
• Prepare periodical reports for sales and marketing
• Conduct site tour for customer visits
• Comply to SOPs
• Adhere to statutory / company’s safety and health policies, procedures and regulations
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma holder in Logistics / Business or related field
• 2 years’ sales admin experience in preparing sales quotation in third party logistics company
• Self-motivated and possess drive to meet sales target
• Good working network among customers
• Good communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities:

• To assign work tasks to the drivers/operators in the Operation Department.
• To handle customers’ complaints, drivers’ and operators’ feedback and problems.
• Coordinate and interface with internal and external customers on delivery/collection activities.
• Ensuring smooth delivery of cargoes to customers/site within schedule.
• To schedule job, set priorities, monitor job progress & tracking schedules, communicate changes on job status.
• Application of required customs and LTA permits etc… if necessary.
• Other admin and billing functions.

Requirements

• Min GCE 'N' or 'O' Levels
• Min 1 year experience in Logistics operations
• Able to work independently
• Good interpersonal & communication skill
• Computer Literate.
• Willing to work in West Area (Company transport from Pioneer/Choa Chu Kang MRT)

Job Requirements:

• Secondary 2 and above with at least 1 year experience in warehouse and logistics environment preferred
• Able to work in a non-aircon and fast pace environment
• With forklift experience and license preferred
• Ability to read and write and performance accurate mathematical calculations

What is the job about?

Deliver consistently high Customer satisfaction on behalf of the Global Indirect team within Group Purchasing as business Partner for the group functions and business stakeholders. Conduct Value Based Sourcing within

the logistics category. A continuously optimization of the Operational Excellence, Innovation and Sustainability delivered from Suppliers. TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) optimization in the Logistics industry/category. The role reports to Logistics CoE (Centre of Expertise) Head .

Your main responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing Process related activities:

• Responsible to develop sourcing strategy to support Business strategy and roadmap
• Manage a portfolio of supplies with regards to development, implementation, and alignment between Global and Regional sourcing strategies
• Provide leadership in supply market intelligence research and analysis activities for visibility in key cost drivers and market trends, industry best practices
• Responsible for value & savings delivery for the category
• Optimize suppliers portfolio
• Lead negotiations/tendering process
• Ensure favorable and compliant contracts closure implementation and management
• Act as a Business Partner for the Group function: understand the business strategies, needs and requirements while challenge requirements, policies, existing solutions and concepts

Ensure foundation for Supplier Relationship Management, data transparency and reporting abilities for indirect suppliers, including but not limited to:

• Facilitation of business reviews
• Definition and maintenance of preferred suppliers lists
• Suppliers performance assessment and development
• Savings, cost avoidance, spend per net sales
• Days Payable outstanding
• Value creation beyond price through collaborative development of spend management, supplier portfolio and performance, quality, sustainability, partnership and innovation
• Supplier performance assessed against Grundfos key business requirements within the category
• Contracts management with external suppliers in compliance with Group policies, standards and requirements on sustainability, ethics and Grundfos values

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

• Being enthusiastic about logistics and supporting climate impact projects
• Good English communication in written and spoken
• Minimum 5 years professional experience within sourcing in a global organization for the specific category
• Experienced in communicating at senior executive level as well as other levels internally as well as externally (typical counterpart in relationships and strategic negotiations will be managing directors or senior executives)
• Analytical and strategic thinking, have good computer skills like database, power-point etc
• Result- and action oriented
• Persuading and Influencing skill
• Capable of traveling (approximately 30%)
• Experience formulating logistics strategies and concepts

Responsibilities:

· Handle full spectrum of finance & accounting matters, including management reporting, taxation, accounts closing

· Participate in audit preparations by coordinating with auditors for financial statements and other finance-related documents in order to comply with accounting and tax legal requirements.

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations and corporate financial policies and good corporate governance

· To review, develop and implement proper guidelines, policies and procedures

· Handle Salary payment & Staff's Leaves

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant fields

· At least 1 years of related experience

· Excellent analytical skills

· Solid understanding of accounting and financial procedures and regulations

· Strong work ethics with the ability to manage confidential data
