· Brief assigned personnel on maintenance requirement for each incoming vehicle/MHE.

· Determine the most efficient and economical means of returning vehicle to service.

· Carefully consider the repairs or replacement of individual assemblies and components to make effective use of resources while adhering to any safety and serviceability standard and to avoid “overly maintaining” the vehicles.

· Ensure technicians comply with all safety procedures and technical requirements.

· Ensure vehicles requiring acceptance into fleet are properly inspected and documented.

· Ensure vehicles required to be rotated out (sold) are placed in DRMO and all documentation are completed.

· Prepare Monthly Vehicle PMS schedule and reports

· Participate in weekly managerial meetings, make recommendations for changes and improvement to transportation policy and procedures.

BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Skill in maintenance and repair

· Previous Supervisor / Manager experience

· Valid Singapore Driver License

· Minimum 5 years of Clean Driving Record

Basic knowledge of all applicable OSH and GOS programs, rules and regulations related to occupational safety

EDUCATION:

1. High school, diploma/degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive

EXPERIENCE:

· The Transportation Manager shall have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing a transportation fleet of a size and scope similar to Singapore. Must be experience gained as Director or Manager in charge of fleet operations. The incumbent must be well versed in the Operational, Maintenance, and Administration areas/functions of an industrial/commercial transportation fleet.
