Metizoft is seeking an experienced and highly dynamic Inspection, Survey & Ship Recycling Manager to join our dedicated team, who can make an impact towards a "Greener" future in the maritime and shipping industry. The ideal candidate will be managing a team of inspectors, surveyors and ship recycling specialists in the APAC region. The candidate should have excellent commnication skills, management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, meeting datelines, and possess the necessary skillsets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Managing a team of inspectors, surveyors, admin support, ship recycling specialists spread across the APAC region

- Reports to the Head of Operations

- Ensure all tasks assigned are executed smoothly within the budgeted costs

- Prepare period budgets for the management

- Prepare individual KPIs for the team

- Evaluate and improve existing processes

Requirements:

- Having the Class Societies certificates on Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM)

- Having recognised certificates on Asbestos Survey and Asbestos Removal

- Proven track record on undertaking Ship Recycling Projects

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Attention to detail and problem solving skills

- Highly driven attitude

- Having a Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture or equivalent

Job Description

• Demand forecasting: Planning of monthly forecast and stock ordering. Predicting customer buying trends and ensuring that the right products are available in the right quantities at the right time.
• Inventory management: Optimizing inventory levels to minimize storage costs and avoid over stock or out of stock. Monitor stock balances to ensure sufficient fulfilment to the trade channels.
• Transportation planning: Prepare necessary shipping documentations and selecting the most efficient and cost-effective routes for shipping goods.
• Shipping management: Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with suppliers, 3PL & forwarders for shipments to/from overseas.
• Vendor and stakeholder management: Liaising with suppliers, 3PL & internal department stakeholder such as sales and warehouse team to ensure smooth inventory operations.
• Data analysis: Using data to identify trends, track performance, and make informed decisions.

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of SAP system is an advantage.

Job Title : Sourcing Executive

Our client from the Banking industry is looking for candidates with passion in Sourcing/Procurement.

Job Responsibilities:

· Support category / sourcing managers for various procurement/ sourcing projects and initiatives.

· Undertake sourcing activities which include contract renewals, running RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ) assigned by category / sourcing managers

· Support internal users to manage the contract renewal process and RFx process from initiation to evaluation, award and contract completion

· Ensure compliance to the bank’s policies, standards and guide when undertaking sourcing activities and supporting internal users in the contract renewal process and RFx process.

· Provide support on processes, workflow and/or workarounds to address gaps to the bank’s policies, standards and guide and procurement process improvement initiatives.

· Provide other administration and sourcing support to team manager and category/ sourcing managers as assigned. Examples of such support include tracking sourcing and savings pipeline and contract renewals of team, supporting team with data analytics and generating regular/ ad-hoc management reports for team.

Job Requirements:

· Degree holder in any discipline

· Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing/procurement function

· Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel

· Good communication skills

· Singaporean Only
