• 2 - 3 year experience can consider for junior position.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Job Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate FF&E Designer with at least 8-10 years of post-bachelor’s degree professional experience in luxury, residential, hotels & resorts. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, fluent in English and possess a strong portfolio of design work.

Requirements:

• At least 8-10 years of FF&E experience in a lead role within the interior design industry, with a strong portfolio of design work.
• Experienced working on luxury hotels and resorts at 5–6-star levels.
• Good comprehension of design planning, materials, details, furniture, and fixtures.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead, mentor and verbally present to clients.
• Experienced working on all aspects of FF&E on projects from concept to completion.
• Strong in furniture design, detailing, and knowledge of manufacturing criteria for luxury hotels and resorts.
• Freehand sketching would be greatly appreciated but not required.
• Experienced in managing complex projects across multiple locations, in hotel and resort type settings.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare OS&E design packages that incorporate operator input.
• Manage client relationships to ensure that projects are delivered on time.

• Travel oversees to factories to review and report on customized FF&E fabrication.
• Relevant knowledge of product qualifications, sourcing, global vendor, and supplier contacts.

The FF&E interior designer will:

Key Responsibilities

· To understand the design project

· To prepare, and develop with the team where required, drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the design

· To co-ordinate the internal design team for the project.

· To take responsibility for the development of the design and the project with input from the Associate Partner or Partner in charge for key project stages.

· To liaise, where appropriate, with members of the external design team and other associated organisations or companies.

· Thorough knowledge of and compliance with F+P procedures and standards.

· To contribute, or otherwise assist, as required.· Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities.

· Have an Industry recognised diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture.
