• Collaborate with UX Designers to translate research insights into high-quality design deliverables (e.g. collaborative sketching, prototyping, user stories).
• Describe product or system capabilities and requirements that support user's goals and tasks, and how successful interactions look like.
• Conduct usability testing: Plan, execute, and analyze usability tests to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Test and refine the product through evaluative research, ensuring that the design enables your users to meet their goals and complete their tasks.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical feasibility.

Job Requirements:

• Singaporean only.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Visual Designer or UI Designer, particularly in 0-to-1 projects (from ideation to launch).
• Prior experience in designing websites and mobile apps.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and/or similar.
• Knowing how to code (HTML, CSS, etc) will be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in Government projects/ Public facing projects will be an added advantage.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Implementation: Convert UX/UI designs into high-quality, responsive front- end code using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript (React).
• Prototype Creation: Build interactive prototypes to demonstrate and test user interactions and flows before full implementation.
• Design System Management: Collaborate with the design and development teams to maintain and evolve design systems and UI component libraries for consistent branding and user experience.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, back-end engineers, and product managers to ensure feasibility, consistency, and user-centered design.
• Usability Testing & Optimization: Conduct usability tests on prototypes and live implementations to identify areas for improvement in user experience and front-end performance.
• Accessibility Compliance: Ensure all front-end implementations meet accessibility standards (WCAG) for a broad and inclusive user base.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize front-end code for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest trends in UX design, front- end development, and web technologies to introduce innovative solutions and improve user satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong focus on front-end development.
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks like React, or Vue.js.
  Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel).
  Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and modern development workflows.
  Understanding of REST APIs and basic back-end integration.
  Design Tools: Strong skills in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  UX/UI Expertise: A solid understanding of UX principles, UI patterns, and best practices for responsive and mobile-first design.
  Accessibility: Experience implementing accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0+ compliance) in front-end development.
