What You’ll Do

• Create artful and functional interfaces by improving user experience.
• Develop and implement processes and guidelines for User Experience together with UX designers whilst demonstrating a citizen-centric mindset.
• Conduct product inception with product owners to understand the product requirements.
• Conduct focus group discussions and usability testing with citizens to enhance the product.
• Develop a sense of empathy with the users and create usable products through the understanding of design principles, colour theory, and typography.
• Present the UI visually so that information is easy to read and find.
• Generate clear ideas, concepts and graphical assets from beginning to end.
• Produce animation / motion solutions and demos.
• Create overall branding and style guides to supplement prototypes for product development.
• Work very closely with development teams to ensure design specs are implemented.

What Will Make You Shine

• Degree of Visual Communication Design or any relevant course
• Minimum 5 years of working experience as visual designer
• Propose design decisions that are practical, functional whilst not compromising with aesthetics
• Ability to convey ideas through variety of methods, such as storytelling, storyboards and mood boards, etc
• Proficient at using typography, iconography, colour, space and texture for your designs
• Front-end development/web development technologies such as HTML/HTML5, CSS, SCSS JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of web and mobile technologies and their impact of feasibility on design solutions
• Advanced knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch and Adobe CS (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement interior design concepts for corporate projects.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand design requirements and objectives.
• Create detailed interior design drawings and specifications.
• Select and source materials, furniture, and finishes that align with the design concept and client's brand.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of interior components.
• Provide ongoing support and supervision during project execution to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design implementation is aligned with project plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of interior design activities.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in corporate interior design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
• Strong understanding of corporate design principles and branding.
