Multimedia Administration (Support Teaching and Learning)

· Maintain and update school website

· Provide multimedia support (e.g. photography, video production) to facilitate the delivery of lessons and events

· Support administration tasks for teaching and learning (e.g. burning of DVDs/CDs, printing of media resources etc.)

· Provide technical advice in terms of multimedia hardware and software that the school can purchase to support the teaching and learning in curricular and co-curricular areas

Other Support/Duties

· Assist ICT associate in managing requests from staff

· Archive, manage and organize the school’s media collection

· Other duties pertaining to the area of multimedia production and administrative work when assigned

Requirements

· Minimum requirement of a relevant ITE/Higher NITEC, or equivalent certification on Multimedia knowledge

· At least 2 years of experience working as a Multimedia Specialist, preferably in a school context

· Preferably have experience managing photo-taking or video-taking projects

· Experience in providing Multimedia Support (e.g. Photography and photo editing, videography)

· Have knowledge to maintain and update website

Working hours

· Mondays to Fridays: 10.00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break

Specific (90%)

• Process Coordination: Co-ordinate and maintain efficient process for operations and activities within the department, and supporting operations to ensure effectiveness and compliance with standards.

Job Summary

• The Executive – Administration provides clerical support to our managers and employees and coordinates all daily administrative activities.

Fund Raising

• Ensure proper records and documentation of all CAS donations (cash and donation-in-kind).
• Timely data entry of donation into Donation Management System (DMS).
• Liaising with DMS’s vendor to troubleshoot technical errors in the system.

IT

• Perform regular housekeeping to respective Services and HQ’s database systems, archiving inactive records, ensuring updated documents/photos of services and service users, reviewing records for accuracy.
• Propose and implement database security best practices in CAS, to ensure that CAS’s database is secure and confidential.
• Liaise with vendor for IT support, procurement of IT equipment and the renewal of IT services.
• Updating of IT manuals and Standard Operating Procedures.

Project Management

• To lead, plan and execute Society’s events such as the Annual General Meetings.
• On behalf of CAS, to lead, source for and monitor the implementation of digital solutions and relevant grants (such as the Charities Capability Fund) that will enhance CAS’s productivity and operational efficiency.

Other Duties

• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Finance and IT Admin and/or Executive Director.

The Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BTBAF) is a charity fund that was set up to offer opportunities for underserved children and youth who display artistic potential and commitment to be formally trained in the arts.

The Little Arts Academy (LAA) provides a creative learning environment and a broad-based arts curriculum where all children and youth can discover their artistic potential and develop skills and personal values that will enable them to transcend personal, social and financial circumstances.

BTBAF and LAA are managed by The RICE Company Ltd (TRCL). TRCL is a not-for-profit arts and culture charity with Institute of Public Character (IPC) Status.

We are looking for a maternity stand-in for an Administrative Executive position from 2 May 2024 to 30 Oct 2024 to manage the administrative functions at LAA.

Duties & Responsibilites:
