Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be part of the Corporate Development team providing a suite of corporate services in Finance, Human Resource, Payroll and Claims, Data Management and IT services to ensure smooth running of the office. As part of the process, the team will work closely with other branches in the organisation, engage with funders and stakeholders across Government and non-Government agencies, and work closely with senior management to forecast and anticipate evolving needs of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- To handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- To handle full set of accounts and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
- To perform month-end closing activities and bank reconciliation.
- To maintain fixed assets register.
- To prepare monthly financial and management reports.
- To prepare budget and cash flow projections.
- To prepare submission of financial reports to funders.
- To coordinate and liaise with external parties such as internal/external auditors, bookkeeper, tax agents, banks and relevant authorities as needed.
- To assist in the preparation of the organisation’s annual report.
- To participate in process improvement projects and UAT testing.
Competencies
Functional/Technical Competencies
- Diploma qualifications in Accountancy/ Finance.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the area of finance. Ability to be hands-on with accounting functions is a must.
- Knowledge in budget, procurement and any major ERP system would be an added advantage.
Generic Competencies
