About the role:

As our PMO Lead, you will be responsible for setting project management standards, overseeing performance, and driving continuous improvement. With strong leadership and collaboration skills, you will ensure successful project outcomes while adapting to changing business needs.


What you will be doing:

  • Establishing PMO standards, templates, and guidelines in collaboration with the project management team.
  • Overseeing and enforcing project governance processes to ensure adherence to established standards and policies.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project performance and progress to stakeholders, including project sponsors and senior management.
  • Conducting project audits to assess compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implementing quality assurance measures to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the project management team to enhance project delivery effectiveness.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration among project stakeholders to promote alignment and mitigate risks.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement within the PMO and across projects.
  • Mentoring and coaching project managers on best practices in project management and PMO governance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate project management processes and tools effectively.
  • Serving as a point of contact for escalations and issue resolution related to project management and PMO activities.
  • Continuously evaluating and refining PMO practices to adapt to changing business needs and industry standards.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects.

What we look for in you

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience in establishing and managing a PMO within a complex organizational environment.
  • Strong understanding of tech scrum master, project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

What are nice to have

  • Preferably with working experience in a start-up environment or technology or payment processing or blockchain company.
  • Ability to conversant in Mandarin.
