ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking to hire a Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager with excellent organizational and analytical skills. The accountant is expected to be detailed oriented, knowledgeable on statistics, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines. Able to work independently, multi-task, work under pressure, positive attitude and self-motivated.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for monthly closing of accounts and consolidation for the group (5-6 entities), intercompany reconciliation.
· Manage the day-to-day financial operations.
· Assist in quarterly stock count and perform inventory reconciliation for variance
· Prepare quarterly GST and handle of taxation matters.
· To liaise with banks, auditors, corporate secretary, IRAS & etc
· Assist in any ad-hoc duties
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree/professional qualification in Accountancy
- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience with strong group consolidation (prior audit experience will be an advantage)
- Hands-on, proactive, and positive work attitude with strong communication, analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Organized, meticulous, committed, independent but yet also an excellent team player
