Purpose
Tokenize Xchange is one of South East Asia’s largest digital asset exchange by trading volume and users. We strive to be the reliable and secure platform for fiat to crypto on-off ramp services while creating utility for our users’ digital assets.
Your role is to provide strategic insight and knowledge to shape the financial direction. Preparation of information on the financial direction of the business. Creation of all necessary reports to assist with strategic financial planning.
You will be working closely with the Management Team to provide insights for improving the product to ensure its rapid growth.
Role & Responsibilities
• Perform reconciliation and record receipts and payments of trade transactions from the Exchange platform and over-the-counter (“OTC”)
• Record accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR) for supplier and sales invoices
• Perform bank reconciliation and post expenses into accounting system
• Review balances and maintain the general ledger
• Posting of month-end manual journals
• Maintain full set of accounts and assist in month end closing
• Assist in preparing year-end financial statements
• Assist in providing documents required for audit and tax reporting
• Providing accounting numbers for budgeting, forecasts and projections
• Ad Hoc tasks and projects assigned by Finance Manager
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• 0 - 2 years of accounting experience.
• Experienced in Xero accounting software preferred but not a must.
• Good understanding of Crypto in relation to FRS is a plus.
• Good understanding of financial investment on trading platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
