Key Responsibilities:
- Perform site checks and verification during engineering design phase including preparing connection lists where required to support project implementation
- Supervise and monitor work progress in collaboration with engineer-in-charge and contractors as well as manage contractors’ work performance so as to ensure proper & safe execution of works, maintenance of quality control and satisfactory delivery of project installations.
- Execute pre-commissioning activities such as instrument loop checks, equipment function and interlock tests including participating in Pre Start-up Safety Review (PSSR) walkabout and punch-list so as to facilitate safe & timely commissioning of new/modified facility.
- Coordinate with Drawing Office on updating/generating as-built construction and loop drawings as well as other relevant documents to fulfil the documentation requirements for project handover.
Requirements:
- GCE ‘O’ or ’A’ Level, or preferably Diploma in an Engineering discipline
- Minimum 6 years of experience in an oil refinery/petrochemical company, with knowledge of process instrumentation.
