Selected candidate will be engaged under a third-party agency payroll for the tenure of employment in SRC under 1-year renewable contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Principal Accountant
- Execute general accounting processes and procedures to support effective and efficient functioning of project accounting activities
- Ensure compliance with SRC ISO policies, procedures and standing instructions
- Process invoices and staff claims in accordance with SRC policies and procedures
- Assess withholding taxes on invoices issued by overseas vendors / contractors where applicable
- Ensure prompt billing to Shareholders for the funding including Project Management Fees as well as prompt receipt of the funds from Shareholders and where required, to initiate remedial actions
- Prepare monthly reports to Shareholders
- Assist in the audit process where applicable
- Assist in extracting information for insurance purpose
- Assist in capitalisation and disposal of assets
- Any other ad-hoc matters as required
Requirements:
- GCE A Level or preferably Diploma in Accounting
- At least 5 years (for GCE ‘A’ level holder) or 3 years (for Diploma holder) of relevant work experience
