Work you will do
Deloitte brings together professionals with diverse experience to provide customized solutions for clients across all segments of the banking and capital markets industries. We serve our clients locally, while drawing upon the firm’s considerable global resources and industry expertise.
This position aims to provide transformational support to internationally active banks operating in the Southeast Asia (SEA) Region in the Financial Services Industry. Banks are experiencing a unique set of conditions which requires them to change the way they operate. As a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Financial Services practice, you will work alongside our clients to help them deliver large scale, complex transformations and ensure business value is delivered through execution and implementation.
Typical engagements include:
- Operating model design and implementation
- Process mapping and re-engineering
- Digital transformation
- Technology and workflow delivery
- Cost reduction / simplification
As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for understanding the client’s needs and will lead on:
- Producing quality deliverables that could entail designing and implementing operating models for transformation programmes.
- Overseeing process transformation using various methods, e.g. traditional lean methods, process mining, intelligent automation, analytics etc.
- Developing new business requirements, including documentation of system and data requirements and capabilities.
- Managing work streams on large scale technology programmes.
You will also be expected to lead and manage more junior team members as well as to lead and support internal projects and business development work.

Requirements:
If you are someone with:
- Tertiary qualification from a leading institution.
- Minimum 6 years of working experience in the Consulting Industry and/or Financial Services Industry – Banking.
- Demonstrated delivery experience in Banking with a Professional Services firm or internal consulting / change experience at a major Banking institution.
- Experience managing large scale engagements and teams.
- Project experience in one of the following: process mapping, technology delivery, systems and data requirements gathering, workflow implementation, or cost transformation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to clearly structure analysis.
- Proven change management and change delivery ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent relationship / stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Experience in understanding business requirements with the ability to convert them into solution designs.
- Ability to implement via agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyse large data sets (e.g. trade data) and use industry standard tooling e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau etc.
- Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.
- Commitment to professional excellence, as well as personal and professional growth.
- An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a pre-requisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
