Job Responsibilities
Recruitment and onboarding
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles
- Stay active with job boards, social networks, institutions and platforms to find talent and interns
- Conduct orientation for new employees
- Maintain and update HR onboarding app when necessary
- Maintain talent management processes
- Collaborate with the team to develop effective recruitment strategies
Learning & Development
- Maintain Talent Management processes which includes Succession planning
- Coordinate with HR teams in Malaysia and China to plan and roll out learning and development interventions
- Responsible for arranging local external training programs and application of training grants
- Responsible for arranging overseas training programs
- Assess the costs of planned programs
- Identify training needs analysis (core competencies) for staff
- Liaising with government agencies on training incentives
- Update and maintenance for all training records
Others
- Responsible for making the necessary arrangement for deploying employee for international assignment and their tax matters
- Prepare HR reports and presentation
- Administration matters for Payroll Chargeback
- Assist in improving, developing and administering HR policies and procedures
- Ensure HR policies are up-to-date with local employment laws and regulations
- Manage and address employee’s suggestions received
- Conduct research to improve on HR processes, procedures and policies where necessary
Secondary duties
- Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees experience
- Manage event planning for company events
- Handling of ad-hoc projects
- Handling of corporate initiatives for rolling out to sites
- Respond to human resources-related inquiries
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ethics
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Proficiency in MS Office
