Our client, Thriving Pte Ltd, is setting up a travel agency that is focusing on travellers who are from Greater China. As a General Manager, you'll oversee the create their travel offerings in Singapore and Malaysia, businesss development and foster client relationships to grow their business.
- Oversee the company’s business development, devise the yearly business strategy, and ensure its successful execution.
- Develop a cohesive and efficient organisational structure and workflow for the company. Lead the creation of critical management processes and policies. Regularly optimize and adjust the organization and processes, enhancing the synergy between internal teams and the company’s external relations within the travel industry.
- Foster the growth of employees’ ideological and professional skills to enhance their performance and unleash their creativity and enthusiasm.
- Collaboration: Work with teams to ensure seamless execution of travel products.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Manage budgets and evaluate performance metrics.
- Experience in online travel agency products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Tourism field. Diploma holders with good and relevant work experience can be considered.
- More than 7 years in travel product development, specializing in tours and routes in Singapore and Malaysia
- Prior experience in a major Online Travel Agency (OTA) such as Ctrip is required
- Must be proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese because the clients will be from the Greater China markets and the materials and social media will be written in Chinese language.
- Applicant must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen.
