Job Summary
A great opportunity for a Manual Tester to be part of an exciting journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and a passion for ensuring the quality of software products. You will be part of the digital transformation journey of the organization and would be involved in turnkey projects.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in Software testing/(Manual and/or Automated);
- Hands-on experience using manual /automated testing tools for applications;
- Experience in conducting System testing, Integration tests, or User acceptance tests is a plus;
- Ability to understand Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in Waterfall or Agile project;
- Have strong analytical, problem-solving, quickly understand complex business and systems;
- Ability to adapt to workload and multitask;
- Good communication skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Knowledge of Cucumber, Selenium , JUnit/TestNG;
- Experience in team management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and understand the functional requirements;
- Identify, analyze, and review design needs and requirements for the estimation of testing scope;
- Develop and maintain software testing deliverables, including test plans and functional test cases, and conduct functional test execution to ensure software meets requirements;
- Properly document test cases and create effective and focused testing plans;
- Conduct functional test execution and defect management;
- Properly adopt, execute, and champion the company's software testing;
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning/ retrospectives and stand-up meetings.
