- Responsible for stock-taking of wine and sake, and replenishing of stock

Job Description
- Prepare restaurant for lunch and dinner. This includes setting up of tables and ensuring general cleanliness of the restaurant
- Checking and tallying of daily inventory
- Replenish wines and sake that have been sold
- Conduct training sessions with waiters and captains in wine pairing
- Research and recommend suitable wines to add to the existing wine list
- Recommend wines to guests, answer any queries about wine or sake, help guests to pair wine or sake with food
Job Specifications
Qualifications:
- Certification to indicate formal wine training
Experience:
- At least 3 years experience in the F&B industry and with specific knowledge to food and wine/sake pairing
Skills and Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of all major wine & sake producing regions including appellation specific information and wine making legislation
- Good knowledge of wine, sake, restaurant menu, and food
- Good knowledge of wine & sake pairing
- Ability to understand clientele’s different wine/sake tastes and preferences
