Job Responsibilities:
- Design code to automate CNC machines that such as lathes and mills.
- Create instructions for machinists.
- Review 3D CAD design blueprints.
- Make calculations for programming including how materials should be cut.
- Translate instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Production Engineering.
- Must have good computer programming skills.
- Good math skills, espacially algebra.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Knowledge of metal machining.
- Knowledge of safety measures pertinent to each job assignment.
