Job Responsibilities:
- Assist business development managers in providing customer service for futures business, including but not limited to assisting with account opening, deposit and withdraw, risk warning and margin call, physical delivery, trading software, statement issues and other functional services.
- Work closely with Singapore teams as well as Mainland China teams to ensure timely solutions to issues that may arise while onboarding and trading of retail, corporate, and institutional clients.
- Drive for increased trading volume by understand client’s needs and proactively meet those needs by offering high quality execution and service.
- Maintain a pulse on client's trading activities and provide feedback from clients and keep internal teams informed.
- Build confidence and rapport with clients through daily interactions on market conditions and drivers in relation to their trading positions.
- Assist the BD director in preparing the business materials in both Chinese and English.
- Other work assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent (verbal and written) Chinese (Mandarin) and English communication skills is required to liaise with our Chinese counterparts
- Professional level of other major Asia language is an advantage.
- 5 + years of experience with derivatives working with institutional clients.
- Experience in high performing teams and institutions is preferred.
- BSc in Finance/Economics/Business or any related degree
- Deep understanding of both Asian and Western mindsets and ways of doing business.
- Familiar with Chinese futures market, working experience in Chinese FCMs or overseas subsidiaries is preferred
- Familiar with the process and compliance requirements for Chinese state-owned enterprises to operate futures derivatives, experience in serving Chinese state-owned oil companies is preferred.
