Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management:
- Maintain IT infrastructure: servers, network devices, storage.
- Deploy, configure, and monitor hardware/software for optimal performance.
- Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades with the IT team.
IT Security:
- Develop and enforce IT security protocols, including firewalls, anti-virus, and access controls.
Compliance and Maintenance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
- Implement preventive maintenance for IT and facility equipment.
Incident Management:
- Manage support tickets, meet SLA targets, and document incidents.
- Investigate and resolve system/application incidents, identifying root causes.
System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, patches, and backups.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain IT process documentation and troubleshooting guides.
- Enhance the knowledge base with self-help resources for users.
Collaboration:
- Work with IT teams, departments, and vendors on IT projects and improvements.
- Provide technical insights and contribute to strategic decisions in meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years working experience in global desktop services or related field, including at least 3 years in a desktop services team management role.
- Helpdesk strong technical ability in ITIL area
- Hands-on approach to tackling challenges and driving solutions
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, networking principles, server administration, and cloud technologies(AWS/Azure).
- Experienced in desktop support tools, IT service management and hardware/software infrastructure, including Microsoft O365 series, AD/AAD, SCCM/Intune, notebooks, printers, etc.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to effectively communicate with employees and leadership at all levels.
- Have an in-depth understanding of security compliance and can ensure that desktop services comply with relevant regulations and standards.
