Job Responsibility
- Responsible for the full bookkeeping and monthly closing of Singapore Special Purpose Companies (“SPCs”) include preparation of journal entries for SPCs, such as interest on shareholder’s loan, reconciliation of intercompany matrix, dividend income, dividend payment, redemption of redeemable preference shares, etc.
- Review and approve monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparation and checking of reporting packages to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements of individual Singapore and Indonesia SPCs
- Preparation of statutory financial statement and XBRL filing for a treasury entity and Singapore SPCs, preparation of audit schedules, various audit confirmations for auditors and liaising with auditors
- Handling of tax matters (including ECI, income tax) relating to Singapore SPCs and liaise with tax agent
- Review and monitor fund requests and various expenses payment from Indonesia SPCs
- Preparation of certain board papers for quarterly results announcement
- Any other ad-hoc projects assigned by the management
Requirement
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting preferred
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience, some experience in audit is preferred
- Proficiency in ACCPAC accounting software is a plus
- Team player who is meticulous and able to work independently
- Able to work under tight deadlines
- Possess good communication skill
