Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Ying Chang on characterizing the species and functional diversity of sediment fungi in the mangrove ecosystem under a project on Mangrove sediment microbiome.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
Participating study design, conduct field collection and process samples in the lab for next generation sequencing, perform metabarcoding and metagenome data analysis, lead manuscript writing and mentor undergraduate students.
Qualifications
PhD in Biology (microbiology, mycology)
