We are looking for the rare gem who will work within the Developments team in Singapore, in close collaboration with business experts, throughout the application lifecycle: needs assessment, development, deployment, sharing best coding practices, support, etc...
As a member of a dynamic team and company, you will be required to collaborate with a wide variety of users (traders, charterers. Operators, market analysts, quant, etc.) on various and constantly evolving subjects. Trading activity is by nature fast and changing, in a dynamic and complex environment that requires understanding the activity and reacting very quickly.
We are looking for an expert motivated to grow our team. We’ll offer a long-term mission for this role.
YOUR MAIN MISSIONS WILL BE:
· Assisting businesses in the digitization and automation of their tasks
· Be the privileged link between business users and the IT department for the team
· Collaborate closely with the rest of the team based in Geneva (Switzerland)
· Actively animate the Developers community around Microsoft tools such as Excel VBA, PowerBI, PowerApps
· Being a point of reference for these technologies
· Contribute to the evolutions of existing applications (version upgrades, implementation of the Cloud…)
· Participate in testing, training, maintenance and support activities
· Ensure level 2/3 application support on the MS Office suite, PowerApps and Power BI
· Python debug of codes with Pycharm/AzureDevOps/Github/PowerShell environment
· Collect and analyse current and future needs in order to develop functional and technical specifications.
· Takeover or industrialize the developments carried out by the team (mainly VBA and PowerApps)
· Ensure the sustainability and stability of the systems developed.
· Develop VBA scripts, PowerApps and PowerBI reports to answer business needs, in accordance with good technical practices.
· Deploy Python application with CI/CD pipelines with our DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Prefect2, EKS, ArgoCD …)
