Responsibilities:
- Hunting 50% : Farming 50%
- Engage in proactive lead generation utilizing a diverse array of channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and comprehensive online research.
- Employ strategic negotiation tactics to finalize pricing, terms, and contracts, thereby achieving revenue targets and ensuring robust account coverage within key sectors.
- Utilize a solutions-focused approach to sales, adeptly identifying customer pain points and customizing offerings to precisely meet their unique business requirements.
- Conduct thorough bid analysis, meticulously assessing proposed solutions in comparison to competitor landscapes to craft compelling and competitive bids for submission.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with pivotal decision-makers and influencers across target organizations, fostering trust and rapport for sustained partnership.
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders within client accounts, facilitating continuous expansion and outreach to diverse business units.
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of proven track record of success in IT sales or business development
- Experience in tender submission process (bid review, tabulation and submission)
- Strong understanding of IT products and services, including software, hardware, cloud solutions, and managed services
- Analytical and Creative Problem-Solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite
