Job Description
- Deal sourcing and evaluation for Web3 related projects
- Supporting/Leading the investment process (market research, analysis, valuation analysis, due diligence, etc.)
- Supporting the portfolio companies and HashKey Capital Ecosystem, and generally pushing the firm’s mission, including knowledge output, various industry events or IR reporting.
- The ideal candidate is naturally curious, intelligent, and passionate about crypto space. In addition, the candidate should have deep analytical skills, well-defended opinions, and superb personal and professional integrity and ethics.
- Identify and assess risks associated with investments, including market volatility, regulatory uncertainty, and technological challenges.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and protect the interests of the firm and its investors.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- At least 5-10 years prior experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or startup ecosystem, with a focus on blockchain and cryptocurrency investments.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and other crypto-related concepts.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- High curiosity and open-mindedness
- Proactive, initiative, and effective communicator
- Ability to evaluate highly technical projects would be preferred
- Proficient of both written and spoken English
