Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Management Specialist with a background in IT services to join our financial services client's team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our team by preparing materials, collaborating with global counterparts, managing IT services akin to a business, and ensuring efficient application implementation and support processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to prepare materials and documentation for committee meetings and other collaborative sessions.
- Work closely with global counterparts to streamline processes and ensure consistency across regions.
- Manage IT services with a business-centric approach, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Utilize business management experience to solve problems, devise strategies, and create compelling presentations using PowerPoint.
- Provide application implementation support, drawing upon expertise in Cloud, IT Service Management (ITSM), and financial applications.
- Develop and implement frameworks to support ITSM processes and improve service delivery efficiency.
- Demonstrate fluency in communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, leveraging agile methodologies to drive project success.
- Ideally, bring experience in the financial and consulting industries, understanding the nuances of these sectors.
- Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and continuously monitor processes for optimization.
- Act as a proactive team player, contributing actively to team goals and initiatives without the requirement for direct team management experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in IT services, emphasizing application implementation and support.
- Proven track record in business management, preferably within the financial or consulting industry.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and their application in project management.
- Prior experience in managing IT services with a focus on business outcomes.
- Expertise in ITSM processes and frameworks, such as ITIL.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint for creating presentations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Fluent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
