Responsibilities:
- Liaise with assigned Countries’ person(s) in charge within the International Business Unit on Administrative and Accounting matters
- Ensure the assigned Countries’ Monthly and Quarterly Accounts closure and reporting to Tokyo HQ within the stipulated timeframe
- Review and consolidate the assigned Countries’ and Project’s budgets, cashflow forecast, variance analysis, etc and report to Tokyo HQ
- Ensure assigned Countries’ compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Facilitate Tokyo HQ’s statutory Financial Audit and Tax Audit of the assigned Countries
- Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- The Japanese Construction Accountant License Grade 3 or above
- A minimum of 2 years of administration experience at marine civil engineering construction project sites
- Must be able to work outside Singapore, especially in developing countries such as African nations for at least 2 years
- Must be able to travel overseas whenever required
- Familiar with Japan’s statutory requirements, i.e. Japan GAAP, Japan Tax System, JSox, etc
- Possession of knowledge in FIDIC contracts is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive working attitude and ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment
- Strong in internal control procedures
