Established in 2018, Westside Emergency is a 24/7 veterinary hospital which provides high quality emergency and critical care to small animal patients. We are located in the Serangoon Garden area and serve clients and referring clinics across Singapore.

Our team is growing rapidly, and we are seeking multiple customer service representatives to join us in our mission of providing excellent client and patient care.

If you are looking for a role that gives you flexibility in the mornings, have front-desk experience or come from a clinical background, this job will be ideal for you!


Working Hours

  • Monday - Friday
  • 2pm - 10pm


Responsibilities

  • Perform phone triage (training will be provided where required) and respond to client queries
  • Greet clients/patients and facilitate registration
  • Manage the waiting room, communicating with the ICU team and providing reassurance to clients
  • Make follow-up calls for discharged patients from the previous day
  • Formulation and maintenance of a client review system
  • Liaise with the practice manager and veterinary director and follow up on client requests and complaints
  • Forward patient records to referring clinics and input received external diagnostic test reports into relevant patient records
  • Maintain item inventory
  • Receive payments and perform settlement of accounts, producing end-of-day settlement reports
  • Keeping the reception area and consult rooms clean and tidy at all times

Requirements

  • Only Singapore citizens and/or PRs will be shortlisted
  • A love for animals (dogs, cats, rabbits etc.) is a must!
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing/front of desk role, hospitality, or veterinary reception experience will be ideal but not necessary
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to maintain a professional and polite demeanour in stressful situations
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong command of the English language. Good command of another language (Mandarin/Malay/Tamil/Japanese) is a plus
