QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer
• Define test strategy and test plan, create tests cases based on requirements and design documentation. Ensure requirement traceability and complete coverage.
• Approving manufacturing process proposed by manufacturers as well as review and approve testing done by manufacturer.
• Ongoing review and reporting of products performance by end customers as gathered by our systems, including detailed analytics of logged errors and performance in our database.
• Proactive ability to troubleshoot, recreate errors found in the field and recommend appropriate fixes
• Ensuring products manufactured meet all the required certifications in respective regions.
• Analyze logs report from manufacturer to investigate test and production defects, report incidents using a defect management tool, and monitor them until they are resolved.
• Produce documents related to testing including test report and release notes etc.
• Liaise with internal Engineering Teams (Firmware/Application Development/Back End Server team) to ensure they deliver their respective pieces to ensure Product can go into service as intended when intended.
•Provide technical & operations support to customers should service performance be required
•Review results and deliverables of continuous firmware, application and software testing to enable product to be successful used by end customers
Requirements:
• Degree in Firmware/Electrical / Electronics / Computer and/or IT with 5 years or more working experience
• Experience with complicated system testing involving both hardware and software in related field
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems, spot opportunities and work in support of other teams such as technology and sales team.
• A strong desire to promote and implement positive change within the business processes.
Salary: $5K to $8K
