Overview
This position is responsible for managing the investment budget necessary to operate HMGICS's R&D organization and projects. Additionally, it includes discussions on the investment budget and costs with HQ, including the amount of the investment budget and the settlement of investment costs on a monthly basis.
Job Responsibilities
Investment Budget Management and Operating a Body of Deliberation
- Refine the deliberation system and revise the company manual for new projects.
Management of R&D Projects
- Reinforce the aligned task management of the headquarters, establish a development report management system, and manage project schedules/KPIs.
- Review task adequacy and effectiveness (investment utility, etc.).
Securing Investment Budget and Managing Settlement with HQ
- Operate and control the indirect cost settlement process for R&D activities under HMGICS’s R&D organization.
- Responsible for reviewing the size of R&D operating expenses, securing the investment budget, reviewing operating expenses, and actual monthly settlement.
Management of Investment Budget and Settlement Related to Customer Experience Space
- Verify the adequacy of investment and operating expenses, and actual settlement of the customer experience space under Hyundai’s settlement process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a relevant discipline.
- Experience in managing R&D projects related to manufacturing technology.
- Experience in establishing new processes for managing R&D projects.
- Prior experience in a financial accounting role with knowledge of IFRS/SFRS/GAAP and its application is highly advantageous.
- Technical skills in actual cost settlement using the SAP system.
- Technical skills in analyzing cost structure and manufacturing costs.
- Understanding of cost accounting and rational allocation of costs.
- Business fluency in English and Korean to communicate with local and HQ stakeholders.
