COMPANY DESCRIPTION
THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. THKMC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission To Serve Mankind to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors' Community, and Therapy.

a)Assisting with feeding
b)Assisting with modified diet for the client as specified by the hospital.
c)Nasogastric Tube (NGT) Feeding
d)Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Feeding
3)Additional Personal Care
a)Medication nebulizer
b)Oral Suctioning
c)Medication Administration
d)Medication Reminder
e)Simple wound dressing (Surface wound). Dressing for stable surface wounds
f)Hypocount Monitoring and Charting
g)Stoma care (change of stoma bag)
h)Applying cold compress under instruction from the client or his/her caregiver.
i)Intermittent Catheterization and Charting
j)Urinary Catheter Care (Draining of urinary bag)
k)Specimen collection (for urine, sputum or stool)
l)Oxygen Therapy
m)Buying meals or warming up food using microwave oven for clients who are staying alone under instruction from the client or his/her caregiver.
n)Accompany the client for medical appointments under instruction from the client or his/her caregiver. (Transportation cost to be covered by the client or his/her caregiver)
o)Accompany the client for short distance stroll near client's home under instruction from the client or his/her caregiver.

a)Maintaining cleanliness of the home environment (client's immediate vicinity)
(1)Sweep and mop floors (bedroom, living hall, kitchen
(2)Light cleaning of kitchen tops, sink and tables
(3)Washing of client's toilet
(4)Changing of bed sheet and pillow cases
7)Laundry
a)Machine wash clothes, bed sheet and pillow cases (Home based)
8)Monitoring of Vital Signs
QUALIFICATIONSDiploma/Degree in Nursing
OTHER INFORMATIONTravelling is required for this position.
Shift work is required for this position.
