Position Title: SAP FICO Functional Business Analyst (Contract)
Department: Technology
Reporting Line: Reports to Deputy Head (IT Business Partner, Corporate), Technology
The selected candidate will join the SAP team responsible for shaping and supporting the Finance IT Landscape for the entities within the group. Serving as the key liaison between Finance and the Technology department, the candidate will address new business requirements and needs. Responsibilities include optimizing the utilization of SAP S/4HANA ERP and associated Finance systems, collaborating closely with business users and vendor development teams for requirements gathering, analysis, design, integration, and testing. Additionally, the role entails providing advisory support globally for Finance-related systems.
(A) Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to identify and propose new systems and enhancements aligned with strategic and operational goals.
- Serve as the Finance business partner, closely engaging with Finance on emerging needs and managing the Finance projects portfolio.
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation, and contribute to configurations and setup as required.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure, managing resources, stakeholders, timelines, costs, risks, and quality.
- Coordinate end-user testing and training for enhancements and implementations.
- Provide regular status reports and project updates to Senior Management and other stakeholders.
- Lead or participate in data analytics initiatives, collaborating with business units to leverage data for insights and offering guidance on data extraction and governance.
- Supervise the resolution of Finance-related tickets by monitoring the performance of Level 2 support vendors.
- Manage access rights requests and reviews for Finance modules.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises, audits, and other Business As Usual activities.
(B) Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or Accountancy with Computer Science/Information Technology qualifications.
- Experience in at least 3 full cycles of SAP implementation on SAP FICO modules or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience supporting large Finance departments' IT systems or in Financial Planning and Analysis and Financial Consolidation systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to influence and lead diverse stakeholders and vendors.
- Proven track record in project management, user, and vendor management.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to present IT solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Adaptability to changes and comfort working in a fast-changing environment.
- Open-minded with the ability to perform configurations and setup as needed.
